Program

The 12th AFEM conference will take place from 18 to 21 November 2025.


The conference will begin on Tuesday 18 November in the early afternoon. (welcome from 12 noon) and will end on Friday 21 November in the late morning.

A joint event organised by SATT-Sayens and AgrOnov entitled ‘Sols et Biosolutions’ (Soils and Biosolutions) will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday 19 November at the Palais de Congrés in Beaune, bringing together around 70 professionals from the agri-food sector.

In the late afternoon of Wednesday, a scientific mediation event entitled ‘The importance of microbiota for the health of wine-growing soils and vines, and for the taste and quality of wine’ will bring together AFEM delegates and participants in the ‘Soils and Biosolutions’ half-day event, in the presence of Madame Ludivine Griveau (Chef de Chaie of the Hospices de Beaune).

A gala dinner is scheduled for Thursday 20 November.

The provisional programme for this twelfth event is as follows:

 

Session 1: Ecology of microbial communities in ecosystems



Session 2: Microbiota-host and microbiota-microbiota interactions



Session 3: Microbiota, ecological function and ecosystem services



Session 4: Ecology of disturbances: microbiota, anthropocene and climate change



Session 5: Microbial biotechnologies for ecosystem sustainability

 

 

AgrOnov & Sayens are organising a special event dedicated to the subject of SOIL AND BIOSOLUTIONS, on the afternoon of 19/11.
The programme includes
- Round tables on soils and biosolutions, with speakers from companies, professional agricultural organisations and research organisations.
- Presentations by companies and concrete results linked to the use of biosolutions. 
- Exchanges between participants and networking time. 

This is an opportunity to meet biosolutions companies, farmers, technical advisers from professional agricultural organisations and researchers, to compare points of view, solutions and feedback.
