After 11 editions organised by our colleagues from universities and national research bodies, the UMR Agroécologie (INRAE, Institut Agro Dijon and Université de Bourgogne Europe) has the honour of organising the 12th edition of the colloquium of the Association Francophone d'Ecologie Microbienne (AFEM), which will take place from 18 to 21 November 2025 in Beaune (Burgundy Franche-Comté). This 12th edition will be the first in Burgundy Franche-Comté, in the heart of the Climats de Bourgogne.
Just a few hundred metres from the Cité des Climats et Vins de Bourgogne, in the heart of the Climats du Vignoble de Bourgogne UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will find the community of scientists who are passionate about microbial ecology and the issues it raises. This symposium will be an opportunity to share your research work, discuss issues and innovative ideas, and stimulate collaboration on a range of scientific topics:
- Ecology of microbial communities in ecosystems - Microbiota-host and microbiota-microbiota interactions - Microbiota, ecological function and ecosystem services - Microbial biotechnologies for the sustainability of ecosystems - Microbiota, the anthropocene and climate change
